Description:
This position will provide project management to new and existing service provider partners. Proactive communication with these partners will be provided to advise new updates or upgrades, hotfixes, determine any issues and provision of quality meetings to determine how you can help our partners grow.
The position will be based at the North American headquarters in San Jose, CA.
Abilities
In addition to project management competence in project delivery and ability to pick up and use new technologies fast, the candidate should possess the following characteristics:
- Initiative
- Ability to prioritize tasks and keep focus avoiding scope creep
- Provide adequate documentation on project status are required
- Ability to work under pressure in different situations
- Patience to work on long term projects
- Ability to work together with internal organization units
- Good communication skills
- Enjoy his/her work!
Experience
- Knowledge of project management software tools and management techniques is required.
- Hands-on experience with the day-to-day management of multiple software delivery projects and frequent product releases is also essential
- Experience with service providers a strong plus
- Experience of managed security solutions a plus
- PMP accreditation is a plus.
Other Requirements
- Able to travel
- Strong motivation to develop own skills and abilities
- Flexible attitude towards new challenges
