Description:
We are a leading VoIP software innovator in Midtown that specializes in providing communication solutions for small to mid-size businesses. We are looking to add a Network Operations Manager to our Networking team.
The ideal candidate for this job will have the following qualities:
-Very strong IP network engineering skills particularly in a service provider setting: configuring/building routers, high availability, monitoring, network security, troubleshooting/configuring firewalls, packet traces and latency troubleshooting.
-Linux/Unix administration skills: installs from the ground up, installing patches/RPMs, monitoring and troubleshooting of Unix performance and network issues. We would particularly like to see experience with IP-based media streaming protocols such as RTP
-Exposure to Telephony & VoIP: SIP, call flow, call control, Session Border Controllers.
-Experience in a escalation support role ideally in a service provider setting
